Christening at the Catwalk Cafe!

We were delighted to host a christening for a local family last Sunday. The Catwalk Cafe makes an ideal christening venue, situated almost opposite the church in Knowle. We can cater for up to fifty guests for afternoon tea, and as a licensed venue can even provide Champagne for the toast!

Family and friends of all ages are welcome. We have baby changing facilities, high chairs and even a clean toy box to keep the little ones entertained!

Our French trained chef along with our waiting team, dressed in their black and white uniforms, worked hard to produce a stunning afternoon tea, all served on vintage china with silver teapots.

Photo Shoot at the Catwalk Cafe

Catwalk Cafe customers were recently invited to take part in a photo shoot. Snow quickly put paid to our plans to model outdoors, and so much to the amusement/entertainment of our customers, we quickly relocated to the catwalk in the cafe itself!

The hair and make up team, led by tutor Emily Bleloch, were all students from Warwickshire College. They worked incredibly hard matching hair and colours to models, corsets and wedding dresses.

Customer Bronwyn shows off her prom dress! She will be the belle of the ball!!!

Carole Richardson, Hair and Beauty Academy Manager, Warwickshire College (pictured above right) said of the experience...

"It was a thrill to be given the opportunity to produce work to commercial standards for a local designer. An opportunity such as this builds enterprising skills which cannot be taught in the classroom".

Sincere thanks to all involved

Fashion Show at Walton Hall

Fashion Show at Walton Hall
We were honoured to be invited to take part in a fundraising charity event at Walton Hall recently.
The spectacular event was in aid of local charity, Shipston Home Nursing, who look after terminally ill people in their own homes. The service is free of charge and the charity needs to raise £160,000 per year to cover nursing costs.
Jewellery was donated by Howards Jewellers and Nick Hewer of The Apprentice became the auctioneer for the evening.
With thanks to our Catwalk Cafe customers (pictured) who modelled our corsets and bridalwear. (Apologies to the shocked hotel guests that evening!)
